CALIFORNIA ADVENTURES: SALVATION MOUNTAIN

Sitting in the middle of the lower Southern California desert, this beautiful mountain was created by one man, Leonard Knight, with a mission to spread the powerful world of God. Made out of adobe clay and covered in over half a million gallons of latex paint, Salvation Mountain is known for its bright colors symbolizing happiness and love.

People near and far travel to view the breathtaking artwork. Salvation Mountain Includes religious messages like the Lord’s Prayer, the Sinner’s Prayer and powerful scriptures like John 3:16. With colorful flowers and designs to compliment these messages, Salvation Mountain is definitely an inspiring 50 foot tall masterpiece that everyone should experience.
