Battle of the Gels Part 1: The Mane Choice Edition

Hey Curlfriends! As you all know, the natural hair market has grown tremendously over the years. With so many brands catering to your kinks and curls, you may find yourself in the middle of the isle trying to decide on which product will work best on your hair.

When wearing my Wash N’ Go, I prefer volume, definition, a good hold, a little shine & no flaking. Doesn’t sound like too much to ask for right? Well it can definitely be a challenge!

I decided to compare 2 gel stylers from one of my favorite brands, The Mane Choice, to see which gel would give me the best results for my Wash N’ Go!

On one side of the “ring” we have the Crystal Orchid Biotin Infused Styling Gel ($11.99) and on the other we have the new Bold Buttery Gel (16.99) from their Do It Fro The Culture Collection. Both of these products can be found at Sally’s Beauty.

I know both sides may look the same when wet however, they dried completely different! Check out my results below!
